Get Free AccessRapid Volumetric Bioprinting In article number 2304846 by Yu Shrike Zhang and co-workers, decellularized extracellular matrix (dECM)-based bioinks in their pristine, unmodified state supplemented with the photoinitiator system of tris(2,2-bipyridyl) dichlororuthenium(II) hexahydrate/sodium persulfate, are demonstrated compatible with volumetric bioprinting achieving production of sophisticated tissue-like constructs within tens of seconds. As exemplary applications, volumetrically bioprinted heart-dECM cardiac and meniscus-dECM structures both present appropriate functions, suggesting expanded bioink libraries for volumetric bioprinting with dECM biomaterials.
