Get Free AccessAs vehicles become more electronic and automated, traditional mechanical vehicles evolve into intelligent networked vehicles with electronic systems. The multi-module electronic systems form complex in-vehicle networks. Gradually, cars are opening up more and more externally accessible interfaces from the otherwise closed networks. These interfaces are connected by the car's internal buses to the control units of other nodes by direct or indirect means, and attackers can penetrate these interfaces directly into the vehicle's critical control systems by hacking into them. Automotive buses play a crucial role in in-vehicle networks, but they are poorly designed with regard to the information security of the network in mind. We introduce the current network security and the main bus technologies for connected cars, analyze the security threats that exist in bus technology, and on this basis study the security strategy for bus technology.
