The main elements of a regular household meat grinder: 1. The body, usually made of aluminum. 2. A large nut that is screwed onto the body. 3. Grids with round holes. The grid is made of hard steel. 4. A knife in the form of a star with four rays, which is adjacent to the grid (item 3), is made of hard steel. 5. An auger made of aluminum with an axis made of hard steel. There is a square protrusion on the auger axis, on which the knife is mounted (item 4). The auger axis ends with a cylinder, which is inserted into the central hole of the grid (item 3). Disadvantages of a conventional household meat grinder: 1. As a rule, the elements of modern household meat grinders listed above are made at the manufacturing plant with low accuracy. 2. The elements of the meat grinders work with a small skew (a small skew is approximately 1 angular degree). 3. Skew leads to poor-quality grinding of products (for example, meat), as well as breakdowns of the elements of the meat grinder itself, for example, the grate (item 3), knife (item 4), auger (item 5), as well as the electric motor for electric meat grinders and handles for rotating manual meat grinders. The simplest and most effective (in our opinion) way to eliminate the shortcomings of the designs of household meat grinders: 1. Rubber gaskets for plumbing taps in the form of small rubber rings are known and widely used. For Russia (and I think for other countries) these are regular rubber rings with an outer diameter of about 20 mm, an inner diameter of about 10 mm, and a ring thickness of about 2 mm. 2. This ring should be put on the square protrusion from the auger of the meat grinder (item 5). Then put the meat grinder knife on top. 3. In modern factories, meat grinder elements are manufactured very poorly, that is, they leave unnecessary burrs on the products during conveyor production. Therefore, it is necessary to carefully inspect the auger (item 5) and remove unnecessary burrs with a file. 4. If you have completed all the points outlined above, then your meat grinder will work 10 times better than before and will not break down. 5. We do not provide design drawings of our proposal, because it is clear anyway: you need to easily and quickly install a standard rubber sanitary gasket between the auger and the meat grinder knife
